Itinirary (6 Days)


6 Days of Berber Villages Family Trek in the Atlas Mountains: We will be heading towards the Atlas Mountains and meeting with the mules on this day. This day will involve about 3 hours of walking. We walk to the Amssakrou River and spend the night in a Berber gite (around 1,500m).

Embark on a captivating journey through the heart of Berber culture during this two-day exploration of the enchanting villages nestled within the Imnane Valley. Traverse through the quaint hamlets of Amssakrou, Ikis, Tameguiste, and Techdirt, each offering a unique glimpse into traditional Berber life. "On day four of the Berber Villages Family Trek, brace yourself for an exhilarating journey as we conquer the Tamatert Pass (2279m), descending into the picturesque Imlil valley (1750 m), before settling for the night in a cozy local guesthouse nestled in the charming village of Armed. Expect around 5 hours of invigorating walking amidst stunning mountain vistas.

Day five unveils some of the trip's most breathtaking panoramas as we traverse from Armed to Tizi Mzzik, reaching heights of around 2,490m. Here, marvel at the snow-dusted Tazarat Plateau and the idyllic villages adorned with cascading terrace gardens. After just 4 hours of exploration, we'll conclude the day's adventure in the tranquil surroundings of Assif N'Azadene, ready to recharge for the next leg.

As the journey nears its end on day six, bid farewell to the magnificent Azzadene Valley and the majestic High Atlas mountains as we venture towards Imi Oughlad.
