Itinirary (10 Days)


Beginning of your 10-day trip to Morocco from Tangier. We pick you up from your lodging, the Tangier airport, or the port. called "the bride of the North" as well. The city is situated northwest of Cape Spartel, where the Atlantic Ocean and the Mediterranean Sea converge. First, we'll stroll about this lovely city and stop at Cape Spartel and Hercules Cave. Lunchtime is free time. After that, we travel inland, past Tetouan and the Rif Mountains, to Chefchaouen. There will be stops to get panoramic views. Finally, we drop you off at your accommodation. Overnight stay in a hotel in Chefchaouen.

After breakfast, the 10-day Morocco holiday continues to explore Chefchaouen, the blue city. Also known as Achaoun, which means horns in Berber. The city is located in the Rif Mountains in northwest Morocco. It is famous for its buildings and alleyways painted in blue and white. Firstly, we will stroll in its charming old Medina, which has so many beautiful authentic blue doors. Free time for lunch. In the afternoon, you can hike to the Spanish mosque, located on high ground. Where you can see the spectacular view of the whole blue city. Overnight stay in the same hotel.

After breakfast, feel free to wander in the beautiful alleyways of the blue city of Chefchaouen. Then we drive to visit the ancient Roman ruins of Volubilis. It is well preserved, as it is recognized as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. It has many beautiful mosaics scattered here and there, along with beautiful ancient pillars and archways. After strolling in the ruins, we drive 30 km to visit one of the imperial cities, Meknes, the Ismaili capital. We visited Bab Al-Mansour, the Sahrij Souani basin, the royal stables, the granary, and the Moulay Ismail Mausoleum. Then we head to Fes. Overnight stay in a riad.

We pick you up from your accommodation in Fes after breakfast to explore the city of Fes. The city is considered one of the imperial cities, besides being the cultural and religious center of Morocco. We start the day by visiting the Royal Palace gate. Then the well-preserved medieval Medina is listed as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. The Blue Gate, or Bab Boujloud, is the entrance of the old Medina. You will enter the Medina with a local guide. To visit the Medrasa Bouanania, the Najjarine fountain, the tanneries, and finally the Quaraouin mosque and university—the oldest university in the world. After that, we leave Medina to visit the Jewish quarter, “the Mellah.”. Then we drive to an ancient fortress for panoramic views of the Medina and the city of Fes. Then return to your riad.

After breakfast, the 10-day Morocco holiday continues south through Imouzzer. Visit Ifrane, famous for its low temperature, snow, and alpine-style architecture. No wonder it is called the Switzerland of Morocco. Then we continue to the cedar forest, where the Barbary macaques live. Feel free to feed them while wandering in the forest. Later, we continue to Midelt, where we will have free time for lunch. Then we drive through the Tizi-n-Tilghmt pass and along the Ziz valley, with stops for panoramic views. In the afternoon, we reach the Sahara desert of Merzouga. You switch to camels and cross the sandy desert, with a stop on top of a high dune to enjoy the sunset. Then continue to the camp, which is a combination of the traditional tents of nomads and the luxury a hotel has. Where you can enjoy the Berber drum music while dancing around the campfire under the vast open sky of stars. Accommodations are in place.

After breakfast, we dedicate the day to exploring the region of Merzouga. The area has so many incredible sites, from sand dunes, wild lakes, mines, and fossil areas to fabulous oases. Which are the ideal places for so many outdoor activities? We start our journey in Merzouga by driving off-road to visit an ancient eyeliner mine. Then we pay the nomads a visit in their handmade, woven tent. And learn how they live while drinking Berber tea. Our next destination is Khamlia village, where you can enjoy the Gnaoua music and dancing performances. Its inhabitants are from sub-Saharan countries like Mali, Sudan, and Niger. Free time for lunch in a restaurant. After that, we take a stroll in the palm tree grove. Then drive a few kilometers to see the wild lake of Merzouga, also called the Lake of Flamingos. Finally, return to Merzouga. Dinner and overnight In a hotel.

Waking up early in the morning is a must-do in order to contemplate the beautiful sunrise. Free time for breakfast. Then we leave the desert to visit Rissani town, the ancient capital of Tafilalet. After breakfast, we continue our trip to Kalaa Magouna to visit the Rose Valley. A rose festival is held annually in May. Where the locals offer their rose products, from perfumes, rose water, and oil to cosmetic products,. We then drive through the palm groves of Skoura and visit the Kasbah of Amredhyle. Then we reach Ouarzazate, where we visit the studios where famous movies were shot. And also visit the Taourirt Kasbah. Then we depart to visit the famous Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou. A fortified village is recognized as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Furthermore, the Kasbah has appeared in many movies, including Gladiator, Alexander, The Mummy, etc. And TV series, including Game of Thrones. After that, we visit the Telouet Kasbah. Then we continue to Marrakesh by going through the Tizi-N-Tichka pass and the High Atlas Mountains. Stops will be made for lunch and to take pictures at interesting spots. Overnight stay in a Riad in Marrakesh.

After a warm breakfast, we will be exploring the highlights of Marrakesh with a local guide. The city is considered one of the imperial cities in Morocco. The visit includes the Bahia Palace, the Saadian Tombs, and the Ben Youssef Quranic mosque. And stroll in the largest traditional souk in Morocco. Free time for lunch near the Jemaa El-Fna square. Later on, you visit the Koutoubia mosque, the largest in Marrakesh, and the Majorelle garden. Transfer to your accommodation. Feel free to wander in Jemaa El-Fna Square on your own.
